Saturday we saw impalas, wildebeest, monkeys and giraffes when we arrived at Tarangire National Park. When we were on safari there were a lot of bumps and I could stand on a seat and look out the pop up roof. After we set up our campsite we went back out on safari. We saw impalas, wildebeest, monkeys, baboons, zebras, warthogs, giraffes, elephants, and dik diks. On Saturday night I heard a lion roar and a hyena howl. On safari you have a cook and a driver and you get dinner, breakfast and lunch.
Hearing a lion roar and a hyena howl while you are sleeping in your tent is much different than the sounds you hear sleeping in your bed at home. What an adventure! Love and miss you, Grandma Robin
